POST-SHOW REPORTS
2011 Overview
The 2011 National Careers & Employment Expo and Skills West Expo proved again that prospective employees and students are keen to get ideas, gather information and help for their career direction from potential employers or educators.
In one of the most challenging economic environments, the National Careers & Employment Expo brought thousands of candidates to organisations and sought after information to career minded attendees across the country.
As expected the numbers of those attending the expos who were employed but looking for a career-change or to re-skill increased in comparison and in line with our marketing campaign.
Student numbers were consistent as in previous years and a higher level of year 12 attendees came through compared with previous years.
More than 100,000 career minded visitors attended the National Careers & Employment Expos and Skills West Expo around Australia.
