Terms & Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
2. Promotion commences 19 June, 2009 at 9.00AM and closes with last entry received 20 June, 2009 at 3.59pm. The promotion will be judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises. Judging will begin at 8.30am AEST on 10 July, 2009. Judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged based on literary and creative merit.
3. To enter simply tell us “How has The National Career & Employment Expo been of value to you?” in less than 25 words.
4. Also include your name, address, email address and daytime contact telephone details. The Promoter will not be responsible for any incomplete or incorrect entrant contact details. Incomplete, illegible, incorrect and incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid and will not be included in the judging.
5. Only one entry allowed per person.
6. The best entries as determined by the judges will win a Laptop computer from Student Edge and NCEE. Runners up will win one of 2 x iPod Shuffles or 2 x Icubic Compact Speaker Systems.
7. If for any reason this competition is not capable or running as planned including (but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, unauthorised intervention or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
8. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner does not take all elements of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
9. Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred or redeemed for cash.
10. Prize must be taken as stipulated by the Promoter.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12. The personal information provided by entrants is necessary for the conduct of the competition and will be used for the purpose of conducting the competition. Please read our websites Privacy Policy with regards to use of personal information.
14. By entering the competition, the entrant consents to receipt of any email regarding the competition, and other emails which inform the entrant of the Promoter’s other publications, products, services and events and to promote third party goods and services it may be interested in.
