What is the NC&E Expo?
The National Careers & Employment Expo is a community spirited event, which provides free careers, employment & training advice to people of all ages.
The Expo is a national event which travels to states and regions throughout the country bringing students together with more than 300 exhibitors nationally.
Students can connect with exhibitors from leading business & industry groups, government representatives and educational institutions.
The event provides an effective channel of communication, in which students and organisations can meet face to face in a relaxed environment to explore and discuss various career paths, study options and course requirements.
Students also can take part in a range of activities which include seminars, stage presentations, demonstrations and various other features.

Your students have arrived at the National Careers & Employment Expo. What Now?
Often students are too shy to approach exhibitors or they just don't know what to ask.
HINT?
Prepare your students with a targeted activity to allow them to work on their interpersonal skills and make the most of the information being presented to them.
- Prepare a list of questions for the students to research while at the Expo
- Break your students up into small groups.
- Suggest an industry or career path they must research.
- And finally nominate a minimum number of exhibitors they must approach before the end of the day.
